Both pushers seized solid, and a dial that had spent a decade in a damp drawer.

The owner had been told twice that parts for it no longer exist. Most of them do; you just have to be willing to make the ones that do not.

The chronograph works were stripped, cleaned and reset, the clutch rebuilt, both pushers freed and new gaskets fitted. I trued the dented bezel edge on the lathe rather than replacing it. The dial has kept its spotting: it is honest, it is stable, and refinishing it would have turned a watch with a life into a watch with a story someone else wrote.
